Bringing Back the Night Sky

Join us for a family friendly evening beginning with a presentation and Q&A to learn more about the importance of dark skies, protecting our nighttime environment and wildlife, why preventing light pollution should matter to you and what you can do to make a difference.  Following the presentation, we will head outside to marvel at the wonders above through telescopes with expert advice from local astronomy buffs.

This in-person event will take place on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 8:00 PM.

Note: Please watch your email in the days ahead of the event for notification of changes or cancellation.

Attendees may wish to bring a flashlight to aid with safe movement in the dark around the telescopes, red lights are preferred to avoid interfering with night vision.
